The concept of digital citizenship is important because, it teaches students as members of a global society the responsible, ethical and safe use of ICT.
Being a good Digital citizen means that you protect all private information for yourself and others, that you recognize the rights and responsibilities of living, learning and working in an interconnected digital world.
Good digital citizenship is important because it teaches students self-respect, how to stay safe online, to stand up to cyberbullying, to respect copyright and intellectual property and to be aware of balancing the time spent online and using media.
